One Direction makes History with NYE Performance

April 2024 · 1 minute read

One Direction’s official hiatus seems to have finally begun with the airing of their last performance on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin Eve.

The boys looked dapper, happy, and lively as they began the night with Perfect followed not long after by Drag Me Down and performed each song absolutely perfectly.  When the boys came back on the television later in the evening it was to perform History which was a very fitting way to end their time with us for the foreseeable future.  Liam’s falsettos during the song were incredible, as was Louis’ solo during the bridge that makes fans go absolutely crazy no matter how many times they’ve heard it!

While it’s sad to see the boys go it’s great to see them finally being able to rest and get some well deserved time at home, with their friends and family, and to enjoy days without over scheduling and running on borrowed time.  No one deserves a bit of a break more than the four boys who have given their fans so much.

If you want to check out all the performances for the first – or like us…hundredth time…watch it below and let us know what you thought at @CelebMix1D!
